For the past 14 years, Learn Piano Online,  our mother site, has been providing top quality piano instruction to thousands of students world-wide. We are happy to announce that in addition to our current curriculum comes…

The “Piano Patch Kids” children’s series. This exciting program features lessons for students as young as 4 years old, up to any age who wants a very easy lesson format. It can also be used as a companion to the Learn Piano Online Program for those who feel they need a little more guidance at a slower pace.

Since it’s development in 1988, these lessons have been tried, tested and revised until every conceivable “stumbling block” has been removed and replaced in a format that even very young children can understand and learn how to read real music!

It is also important to know that these are real lessons, teaching real concepts. This is not just an introduction to music, this is not about placing colorful stickers on the piano and being confused when you take them off. This is an approach that is innovative, interesting and fun! It will present real notes, real symbols, real songs. (There is plenty of colorful and worthwhile activities that will enhance the learning process!)

lisaStudies show that the “language window” opens wide at the age of two, then slowly closes until it is shut at age ten. Reading and interpreting music at a glance is a language that develops much more than the obvious. There is no other skill known that reaches as deep into developing confidence, concentration and coordination as learning piano. Imagine using both hands, both eyes, 10 fingers, both feet and your brain all simultaneously!

Imagine your child, or yourself playing the piano by reading real notes and interpreting it on the spot!
Now that is something to be excited about!
